Eh. A little bit of racism there. Like, yes, white people have oppressed many other cultures in the past. But white people have had times of oppression too. So people can’t be all butt-hurt and blame-y all the time. To constantly call out white people because of mistakes some of their ancestors made, is sort of a kind of racism. I had family here during times of slavery but they never had slaves. My great some-odd grandfather fought for the Union. The rest of my family got here in the early 1900s and it was definitely not an easy road for them as immigrants. I view everyone as equal. To generalize all white people as racist and crackers is wrong. And cracker is a sort of derogatory term. *steps down from soapbox*

The only people who have ever oppressed any of us for our ethnicities have been other white marked ethnicities. Which isn’t racism.
